This kit provides tremendous convenience and facilitates a quick and easy installation. All components are of the highest quality made by reputable Manufacturers. The water filter features a "valve in head" which alleviates the need for inlet and outlet shut offs. This "valve in head" can be turned 180 degrees when the cartridge needs to be replaced. Three KleenWater KW110 cartridges are included. These are graded density which means larger particles are trapped near the cartridge surface and smaller particles are trapped near the core. It is also grooved which substantially increases the cartridge surface area thus extending it's service life. To provide prospective to the 5 micron sediment entrapment rating it is important to note the naked human eye can see down to 20 micron and a human hair is 100 microns in diameter. The (2) John Guest brand "quick connect" male adapters make installation easy. Simply thread the adapters into the water filter inlet and outlet. Next slide the plumbing pipe into the female quick connect port and fully seat. At this point the installation is complete.
